any use of the dervish yet
hey all
I've just recently gone back to HA and was wondering if the dervish class is getting any use. I've already seen some builds with the paragon, but yet to see the dervish in play. Are there even any builds made with a dervish in it for HA yet?

We faced some D/A's in GvG too. They used enchantments, AoD and Mystic Sandstorm to spike.

I made a build with 4 dervishes in it, check HA section. It works like a charm.

The dervish class is more complicated than the Paragon so it is a little slower to develop (the whole "people don't like to read skill listings and think so they just stare at obs" syndrome).
One of the teams that are more attuned to the dervish-dV-is running a nasty pressure build with 3 R/D bunny scythes :P and are developing a build with a dervish ganker.

Dervish are not over powered. just like any caster interupts, hexes enchantment stripping prematurally shut a D enchant dervish down.
so its more people have yet to adapt to taking on the dervish then the power level of a dervish.

GWP used a sin ( me ) and a dervish ( black ) to gank. I would input some damage, and the dervish would take the damage/protect me/heal me/remove conditions. Works pretty nice.

That's one thing I thought of immediatley when I saw the dervish class. They'd be great for ganking.
